Amidst predicting the iPhone price of the much-anticipated iPhone 5, reports from the tech world predicts that the release date of the iPhone 5 would be finally confirmed this coming summer by Apple at their WWDC in San Francisco.
While everyone has been trying to make best guesses on the next release of Apple’s flagship smartphone; based on its yearly refresh schedule observed for the iPhone so far, this year seems very likely for the legendary iPhone 5 to be released, which would usher in a new era for the Cupertino-based company as well.
After a challenging 2011 year that saw issues with maintaining iPad 2 inventory and a steadfast iPhone 4 holding the fort for a full 18 months since its June 2010 release, the iPhone 4S that came in late last year was universally viewed as more towards filling in the gaps rather than changing the game itself. Hence, the return of their groundbreaking product launches at least in the form of the iPhone 5 seems like a sensible breath of fresh air for Apple.
Amidst growing budget-consciousness of the market, Apple would be determined to capture a larger piece of this consumer pie by likely offering the biggest price reductions to date this coming summer, alongside the release of the iPhone 5. So the good news is that the iPhone prices would likely be kept competitive and affordable as well.
There are still speculations as to whether a summer release would be feasible or profitable for Apple, given that the iPhone 4S is still continuing the success story set by the earlier iPhone 4, and this momentum of the iPhone 4S seems likely to carry on at least for another 12 months.
Whatever may be the case amidst growing expectations this year filled with quad-core processors, a larger screen and Apple’s maiden venture into the realm of higher-speed 4G LTE territory, it sure looks like at the very least, patience in awaiting the iPhone 5 at an attractive iPhone price would not be in vain at all.
