There have been a lot of rumors going around about an iPhone Nano. For one thing, we know the iPhone Nano’s price. This phone is supposed to be a much cheaper version that would have catered to the market who cannot afford or who does not want to buy high-end phones. The iPhone nano was called an iPhone nano because it is much smaller than the original iPhone.
The iPhone 4S is believed to be what was called the iPhone Nano but Apple had to change its name because they were not able to release the iPhone 5 together with the iPhone 4S. The initial plan was to release both phones together. The iPhone 5 is going to have a 4 inch screen which makes it much bigger and this led Apple to call the phone we know now as iPhone 4S as iPhone nano.
One major reason why the iPhone 5 was not released in time was because of the hardware design. Apple was not able to come up with a design that would pack all the features and improvements of the new iPhone into a 4 inch frame and they needed more time to get things done.
Apple was also very busy with the iOS 5 which was the upgrade to the old operating system so what Apple did instead of releasing two phones that will appeal to a much larger market, they released the iPhone nano as the iPhone 4S and packed it with features that was much superior compared to the iPhone 4. Apple was very successful in doing this because they have a lot of success with the iPhone 4S. It has features that the iPhone does not have and this made a lot of people want to upgrade to the iPhone 4S.
One feature that made the iPhone 4S so popular is the software called Siri. Siri is a personal assistant that does everything that you tell it to do just by using voice commands. It can do most of the things that you tell it to do and using it with internet connection allows you to do so much more.
The idea of an iPhone nano is not far off. The iPhone 4S might have been the iPhone nano that we were all expecting but Apple can easily make a new product with a smaller screen compared to the soon-to-be released iPhone 5 and call it iPhone nano.
There is a huge possibility of this idea becoming a reality because Apple has no share at all when it comes to mid-range phones because all their iPhones are high-end. There is a bigger market for mid-range phone users and until they are able to tap into that market, they will just have to settle for the 3rd or 4th spot when it comes to phones that are being bought in the market.
The longer it will take for Apple to make a real iPhone nano, the more money they are losing because of the potential sales that they could have. There are a lot of people who want to have an iPhone but can’t afford the latest ones and the iPhone nano would be perfect for them.
